This Canadian Member of Parliament says he was impressed by the show's color.
[Paul Szabo, MP for Mississauga South]:
“When the curtains first opened up I was like, ‘wow.’ It was just a splash of colors and you know some beautiful colors, but it was controlled movement of color.”
There was a genuine appreciation for seeing the show from a former Ontario official.
[George Smitherman, Former Ontario Deputy Premier]:
“It was so beautifully constructed and my heart goes out to the performers who have worked so hard, obviously, to make such a success of it. We thank them for all that they have done to bring these beautiful expressions of Chinese culture to life.”
Mr. Smitherman enjoyed seeing the large drum in one of the final performances.
